Searching for my "niche"
Journal Entry: Tue May 6, 2008, 9:07 PM
I'm at the point in my artistic career where I am starting to wonder where the hell my niche is going to appear and really make my work pop out from the others. I guess I'm still in the studying stage of my art career...
Right now, I've started to really get into continuous contour line drawing and water colors. I just did a project playing around with the combo, but unfortunately I didn't get to take a photo of it to show off on here. Will do that as soon as I get it back.
Of course, photography will always be on my list of favorite medians... One of the reasons why I picked Graphic Design as a major, to be honest.
Anyway, I'm just rambling what's on my mind. Basically, I'm still searching for my niche- one that I am comfortable with and really enjoy getting into. So if you have any ideas, comments, whatever... feel free to help out a fellow artist. Thanks.
*Sidenote: I'm going to go through my art gallery and move things into my scrapbook. Mainly to help distinguish my finished work from my studies (from like high school and such).
- Mood:
Wow! - Listening to: Beatles
- Watching: My albino frog swim in circles in his tank
- Playing: the procrastination game
